A Special Son

Today, I want to remember one special son.

Losing a child at any stage, pregnancy, infant, child or later, is heartbreaking. But did you ever stop to think that our Creator, God the Father went through the same loss?!

He had a son. One son.

And He gave his son to pay my debts - and yours. The price of which is death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

He sent His son knowing His son was to die.

But He didn’t just send His son.
He PLANNED it ... from the beginning!

I will bless those who bless you, … and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
Genesis 12:3

God loves me and you so much that He willingly sacrificed His son for us.

Knowing how much it hurt to lose my baby, one that I never even got to meet, I cannot fully grasp how much someone must completely love me to choose to give up their child for me.

And yet God already did. His Son is named Jesus.

If you didn’t know, you are completely and unconditionally loved.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
