Who We Are
We are mothers and fathers. We are brothers, sisters and friends. We are survivors. We are healed. Therefore, we are understanding and we are here for You! You are not alone. We are here to walk through this tough time with you.
We have been in your shoes. We have experienced the pain of the loss of an infant child, grandchild, or friend. During our tough time, someone showed us comfort. We are here to provide that same comfort to you as you journey through the unimaginable. In the midst of troubling times, we had an Anchor for our Soul. His name is Jesus. We made it. Let us be the hands and feet of Jesus to YOU. You will make it, too!

Keshia is a simple girl who loves the simple things in life like family time, country style BBQ's and board games with her husband. She loves to be around a crowd of people where she can laugh and have a great time. She also loves to be by herself where she can meditate and have some personal alone time with her God and Savior.
As a wife, mother, business owner, homeschool teacher, and passionate follower of Christ, she lives her life to love God and to love others. She is the committed wife to her handsome husband, Ahmad Brandelle Alexander. She also has the honor of parenting her three rambunctious boys and sweet little girl who all bring absolute joy to their lives!
From an early age she has always wanted to make an impact in the lives of people; therefore, she seeks to encourage, inspire, and motivate people no matter where they are in life. Having walked through a dark time in her life after the passing of her third son Titus, she has seen how her faith in Christ pulled her out of the darkest moments and enabled her to truly, whole-heartedly smile again! Keshia is excited to see how Anchored Soul can encourage others during their dark times and see lives strengthened and hearts smiling again. Most importantly, she is excited to see how people can come face to face with a man who can rock their world. His name is Jesus. It is because of Jesus we have promises that can give us hope. That hope can be the anchor that keeps us during any dark time!

His heart's desire is to live his life according to Colossians 3:17 & 23, "And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him." "And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord..."

Elissa is a faithful follower of Christ, striving to completely obey Him in a fallen world. Together with her husband Phil, she is raising two sweet boys and a precious little girl in Humble, Texas. In her free time (ha!), she has an in-home freelance graphic design business. Having followed her husband in his service during his active military career, which he continues in the reserves, God revealed a passion for supporting families in times of need especially when their family is not available. With three pregnancy losses between her two boys, she is aware of the devastation that follows and the need of emotional, physical, and spiritual support. She knows God does His best work when we are at our absolute worst. It is His strength, His love, and His sovereignty that gives purpose to our lives.
